Tremonti A Dying Machine

Album Review: Tremonti – A Dying Machine

It feels like Tremonti have been teasing us forever about the new album but [amazon_textlink asin='B07CCP1P39|B07BX7K29Q' text='A Dying Machine' template='ProductLink' store='uk125|us125' marketplace='UK|US' link_id='83407792-6af2-11e8-9b59-7123f7255925'] has finally arrived.

The fourth album from Mark Tremonti's self-titled band has a lot to live up to and it doesn't disappoint. A Dying Machine is the band's strongest release to date. Proving he is more than just a guitar hero, Mark Tremonti's vocals really shine as he continues to grow into the frontman role.

Tremonti

The album is still packed with huge riffs but A Dying Machine is Tremonti's most well-rounded album so far. Trust is a personal favourite track of mine so far, with Mark Tremonti yet again showing us how well he can write a beautiful melody and catchy chorus. When it's immediately followed by the crushing Throw Them To The Lions, you really start to understand what this band are all about. They want to take you on a journey with their music and I think many of the new songs will quickly become live favourites around the world.

With this album, Mark and his fellow Tremonti band members are stepping out of the shadow of Creed and Alter Bridge. This isn't a vanity project. Tremonti have quickly become one of the best bands around at the moment and continue to evolve into a force to be reckoned with.
