Neural DSP have teamed up with Omega Ampworks for their latest guitar plugin and have brought the Granophyre into the digital realm. The single-channel monster seems like the perfect amp for a Neural DSP plugin but can this beast of an amp really be turned into a digital model without losing its edge?

Neural DSP Release The Omega Ampworks Granophyre Plugin

Neural DSP have just released their latest plugin, the Omega Ampworks Granophyre. This beast of an amp is paired with a digital recreation of the Earthquaker Devices Plumes overdive pedal to cover everything from dirty blues to crushing distortion along with a 9 band graphic EQ.

The amp features selectable EL34, 6L6 and KT66 power tubes, low gain setting for softer response, thicker tone, gentler highs, and rounder lows and a high gain setting for tighter low end, more saturation, more upper-mids. There is also a voice switch which changes the placement of your midrange focus. The cabinet section of the plugin features an Omega Ampworks Granophyre cab with 12 IRs per microphone.

The plugin has a standalone mode too for when you don’t want to use it with a DAW.
